Locomotion Cackler

Post by lukejpetch » Wed Aug 21, 2013 12:11 am

Hi All,

Thought I'd share my latest purchase with the forum, with the aim of other owners discussing their experiences.

Here are some photographs of my Locomotion Cackler, which looks like a brilliant example to me!

Don't have one so I can't discuss it, but that doesn't stop me from writing that it's a very nice loco!

Think they are fairly rare, an NWAG member has one that even with R/C is a bit of a livewire but it is probably quite a bit older then yours

Just gave the loco a general clean and polish, the photo below shows the loco ex-works until she gets Radio Control in a few months time.

That's looking really nice - when you get fed up with it, you can send it here and I'll force myself to have it! ;)

Send it here and I'll make sure it doesn't go missing - how's that for a free-of-charge secure storage offer?

I really like these little locos but unfortunately I have no garden railway at this time. But I'm still working on it.

Was great to see you again! And glad you liked the engine, hopefully you'll be suitably impressed with yours when it's back together! :)

I'll post a couple of photos from the day of Cackler later on!

I got my Cackler back together enough for a steam test and it sounded so nice running on the bench, will fit all the bits and cab back on now I know all is well.
