<apologies for xpost>
Based on the Busted Bricks budget 2wd chassis. Will need lengthening some what, hence the brutal surgery.
I guess that this is what they call "beyond the point of no return"!

Chassis now lengthened and widened, and "would you adam and eve it, govnor?" it still runs OK.
Managed to procure some coffee stirrers and started building the sides.
Observation: Starbucks coffee stirrers are straighter but Costa's are of a more uniform thickness.

A bit more gluing has occurred, but play halted once again until new coffee stirrers can be located.

I tend to "sort as I go" - bent ones get put in the "stirring paint and glue" pot whilst the others get used for building projects.
