I actually built around 80% of this on the Thursday evening before Peterborough - I wanted to do a bit of "non pressure" modelling after I'd got FF loaded and ready to go.

I think the wheels may be Slaters or Brandbright - -they're certainly not the originals!

The only paint on this is on the brake cross shaft..............

The really "fun" part was fitting the slats to the seats - eventually they were fitted with a pair of tweezers with sharply bent ends.........

Yes, the benches are a bit tricky, aren't they? Looking really nice. Mine (i.e. your original kit, which was missing a few bits) has the wider body intended for 45mm, but on 32mm wheels - which just makes room for two to get quite cosy on a bench. Still looks pretty tiny! I found some spare Binnie wheels for mine, and some whitemetal couplings from the bits box.

'twas nice to see both of 'em together at Peterborough. As you noted on the day, mine also has rather a large slab of lead stuck underneath...

Nice. The seats (however long they took to put in) certainly look the part, and look way better than just pieces of wood.
