one of these? i think it was the first kit i built . my one runs on an old playmobil chassey and is battery powered with manual speed control. the kits instructions are almost nonexistent just 1/2 a diagram. i did add bits of plastic so the body is removable, and so there is a way to attach the chassey, which is some thing i think they donot think of . an easy kit if you think about what you are doing .

GRS Kits
Bought a 4wd Hudswell Clark kit at the show. First impressions are very favourable. Excellent w/m castings with very little flash and the main body parts are well cut. I was going to use a Big Big chassis, but after examining the under frame of the kit I'm going to use that. Some frame spacers, Como motor gearbox, wheels etc. and I hope to end p with a dual gauge animal. I'll also make the bonnet removable so I can get to the gubbins that will go underneath.
I also got 3 Binnie skips from Peter Binnie (good to see him again), the Vitacress book and a book on lathes.
Yes, I enjoyed the show and so did the Domestic Authorities. Stayed o/night at the hotel £30.00) very reasonable. Well done to all those who organised it. Parking (blue badge) was a breeze.
