Here is a huge log on our new logging trucks ready to be pulled by our second DeWinton loco. The loco managed it easily round the curves and up the 1:80 incline. One of the trucks is a re-use, the wheels and deck have been recycled from a small outside framed truck that I didn't like.
These trucks are for 16 mm scale and above
They are showing a lot of wheel being inside framed. They incorporate lots of 13 mm OD x 6 mm ID ballraces. Even the log holders are ballraced, supported by two races so that the wheel flanges don't bind on the curves. I had a quantity of these ballraces to use and each truck has eight 
The beauty of them is that however heavy the load the rolling resistance doesn't seem to increase unlike with the plain bearings that I've previously used. 
We were dreaming of making a well-wagon so that I can tow my son's dead diesel loco, and he can tow my dead steamie. Then the penny dropped and I realised these trucks are modular, just slide off the log-holders and slip-on the well wagon deck
