Bit of an update, still no news on if I'm in the York model engineeing society but at Stoneleigh I got some presents for Offler & River Ankh.

But River Ankh's is bigger! Why do the smallest locos have to make the most noise?

Edit: I nearly forgot to mention that both locos will look a lot better soon as I've ordered some nameplates from Narrow Planet.

I am looking at purchasing one of these engines - looks like a good size to rescue dead live steamers. ;)
If the manual speed control card is removed, would there be enough room to install RC equipment - a small receiver and a small ESC?

It is possible to fit R/C into a Ffion, my attempt is not pretty but it does work. I've never made my Ffion try to haul my Millie but I doubt that it could. If you want an electric loco that can haul dead steamers one of the bigger Essel locos would probably be a better bet.
