Little WDLR Baldwin meets Big WDLR Baldwin

Post by cncmodeller » Sat Jan 04, 2014 5:11 pm

I have just got these two pictures back from developing and shows my WDLR Baldwin at the Leighton and Buzzard Railway in the summer sitting on the real loco. It took me by surprise a bit at how small it looks!

I've always liked the look of these locos and to see it in the flesh only confirmed that. John

It is quite 'humbling' when you can compare model to prototype like this.

It certainly makes you appreciate more the work that goes into scaling things down.

Well, it does for me!
