Tea Van

Post by MDLR » Mon Sep 02, 2013 9:40 pm

I got the bag with this in out of the garage after lunch yesterday - by tea time (appropriate, really) it looked like this:

I NEARLY decided to leave it unpainted, but the bloodstains spoilt the look of it, so I waved a rattle can and some black acrylic paint at it with this result:

I made two alterations: I glued a length of coffee stirrer inside the sides of the body to give the floor something to sit on whn I assembled it (something I always find is a pain) and I used track pins instead of lengths of wire for the brake "rack" and pivot. I do think the brake handle might be vulnerable...............

Since my "little turn" a week or two ago, I've been on Warfarin and now when I cut myself I bleed profusely. On the top picture you will notice a blood stain in the bottom left hand corner of the end: There was one on the roof as well!

If you must know :
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

I lived for 2 years of my life under the rule that at no point should no feet be touching the ground.

All fine now though!

Nothing at all alike, it has nothing to do with temperature, it just means the blood doesn't clot.
Anyway, Bungle points for all involved!
