Mamod Rolling Stock Wheel Inserts

I thought I would share this little innovation with you as the model that these will appear on will not be showcased until later in the year I always thought the standard Mamod rolling stock wheels with red vinyl inserts were a bit bland so here is something I made to improve them. It's the same principle as the Mamod Wheel Inserts shown here http://gardenrails.myfreeforum.org/about6477.html

So you get a set of these inserts:



Press them into the Mamod rolling stock wheels and then just add paint:

Another great product from the Peter Jones Locomotive Works.

I take it your next locomotive will have a pony or trailing truck using these rolling stock wheels. If so I'll be very interested as I have a stalled Mamod SL1K 0-4-2T project and I'd like to improve the mounting of the trailing truck.
