Been awhile since I last commented...
The locomotive is now finished, and is now in the paint shop. The finish is a secret! ;)
It's high on the list of locomotives that have p*** off my dad the most (the 2 that have it beat are a "Salem" Garratt and his own, blue Mayumbe Garratt)! It's burner is so tempermental that it wont light in any breeze!
I'll send pics once it's painted. :)

Horrible contraptions.
Our's moved 5' then ran out of puff...
But we loved the look of it so much, that the next project is an "uprated" version with proper cylinders and a Cheddar boiler.

5 feet? Must have been a good one then! The one I had here for repair would only go about 12 inches before it ran out of steam, most of which had leaked out from poorly made and/or fitted cylinders and pipework. It would have taken a long time to sort it out, but it was not one of the owner's favourites and so he was not prepared to spend the kind of money needed to do a proper job. I ended up selling it on behalf of the owner, and got £100 for it I think. Personally, I wouldn't have given 100 pence for it!

Errr... everything? Relying on silicone tubing to grip a smooth and oily high-pressure steam pipe without any kind of clamp or clip was only the start of it.

The 0-4-0s they did seem to be OK.

My dad is greatfuk for all the positive feedback! Thank you! :)
He's now making more "tiny" trucks to go with it, a similar style to the brown trucks in the video. He's also making a small guards van.

I only know the length, and it's a meer 14 inches long!
The width is a rough estimate: about 4.5 cm? (sorry traditionalists) The height I'm not to sure about, sorry. :|
Hope this helps!
