Re populating your garden railway

All this comment on figures for garden railways adds up to one thing - silly looking representations of human beings shouldn't be allowed on garden railways, that's what I say. Anyway while I'm on this forum here is a pic of me and my 2 foot gauge locomotive.

Argyle Locomotive Works "Philadelphia". You can contact the boss, Gordon Watson by email: just put in Argyle Loco into Google and you should pick it up but take care there are 2 divisions - sales and service, you will want service@argylelocoworks.co.au or similar, (you need to confirm this address).

Mine ran well and the sfter sales work was terrific, not that it needed much done.

They've been out of production for close to 10 years, but I agree they run well when set up properly.

As I understand it Argyle Loco (Service) now builds to special order only but I cannot see that he would not build a Philadelphia if that was required. A real difficulty may be a the long waiting time as he has plenty of orders. You can only but try.
