A very popular starting point for Live Steam. With their low cost comes a number of problems which can be discussed here

You can't go far wrong with the displacement lubricator from Dream Steam. Easy to fit and works a treat.

Simplified explanation. Remove the steam pipe from the reverser block, insert one leg of the lubricator in its place, then insert the steam pipe into the joining piece on the other leg.

The only complications are bending the lubricator pipe legs to shape and cutting the steam pipe to length, both of which are easy enough to do.

Full instructions are supplied and if you want I can pm you photo's which show one fitted so you can see what goes where :D

As Greg says, they seem to work well. Put it this way I put oil in at the start & drain water off at the end...So the oils going somewhere. Easy to fit, just don't cut the steam pipe feed off too short!!
