Quake Rocks the Pine Tree Light Railway
Quake Rocks the Pine Tree Light Railway
The Pine Tree Light Railway has today been hit by an Earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale. Passengers feared for their lives as the ground shook and there was an almighty BANG!
Company Inspectors carried out a thorough survey of the line following the tremor and found little to no signs of any serious damage. Dragley Beck Station Master and Part Time Driver Austin Rea was shocked. " I can Baguley believe it! I felt a funny Sensation, but I thought it was just the Kebab I had for Elevensies!"
Eggperts believe that unexplained tunnelling under Morecambe Bay could be the cause. Mr E Man, of Ulphastone Geological Society states " There has been sightings of a large animal, possibly the size of a large cat burrowing tunnels around the sands of Morecambe Bay. If one of these tunnels has collapsed it could quite easily have caused a tremor of this magnitude!"

Awwww. I wish I still had my dogs. William & Topsy that were Dandie Dinmont Terriers (click the links for the piccies)

Now this isn't them. They are the oldest breed of Scottish terrier & they are very rare. Those are the colours they come in. William & Topsy were Pepper (the dark colour). They have very powerful jaws & for that reason, they were used to hunt badgers (ha Bill Odie), rabbits, rats & many other rodents.
