A sunny Autumn day with a bit of a chill in the air. Spent about an hour just shunting wagons around at Leawarra. It's nice to be able to just let the loco sit with a wisp of steam at the safety. Eventually put a train together, a van at the end for a run up to Nayook.

Funnily enough, just as I was reading down the recent posts, I thought what a good job the painter was. Possibly a wee bit pristine though, I don't think I've ever seen a painters white overall's that are actually white, more usually a sort of random rainbow effect! Much the same to be said for his ladders as well.

However, the van and its detail are superb , as usual, Grant.

Thanks Philip, the van was originally a US caboose with a cupola given to me by a friend that didn't fit my line.
Your 3d figures are the perfect answer to be able to have figures in the exact pose required for a given situation. I would imagine those coaches would have gained some weight with a full compliment of passengers.

SPRING IS HERE.
Used the Shay today, collected some log bogies and took them down to the workshops to be greased for the new season.
Leaving Leawarra to head up to Nayook to leave the bogies there waiting for new logs for the mill.
