I confess I find myself in a quandry this time. There were only 4 entries that really fit the theme of "'Little People'. Pictures of the inhabitants of our railways". Bearing in mind that this forum is about MODEL railways, then the implication is of course that the theme was about MODEL figures, not real life children however sweet and charming they are, and it is stretching things a bit to say they actually inhabit the layouts! Nevertheless, I have included them at the end of the list so that I'm not accused of being a grumpy, pedantic old killjoy! ( I am really!
