Something interesting I found

I don't know if I would trust this website necessarily, but this little model does look interesting.

Aliexpress is quite trustworthy; but they represent different Chinese traders (it's an online 'shop window' if you will). Most are reliable and trustworthy, and a few are not. Because everything comes from China, returns can be difficult, ans sometimes expensive.

I thought it looked pretty interesting actually.

Would be neat to make some real pistons for it.

That's a very crude model - look at the very basic 'cab', the strange 'tender' and also the great gap between the burner nozzle and the backhead of the boiler.

I'd worry that the capacity of the burner gas tank is greater than the capacity of the boiler and if you read the spluff the cardboard insulation wouldn't like to be overheated!

I'd rather like the promotional video to be somewhat more professional - the fact that it jumps about towards the end doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in the builders commitment towards quality control!

Here's a watchmaker who makes model steam engines as a hobby. The first video is the running gear and the second is the whole locomotive. Notice the sprung axles and full Walschaert's gear, among other things, and the boiler is a real locomotive-type with a wet backhead and a proper blower.
