Salem diesel from RWM

Good morning all
Some of you will be aware that I have been developing a much revamped version of the Salem battery operated diesel loco. It's been a much longer process than I expected but it is now nearly ready. I gave the almost finished prototype a really severe test a couple of days ago and the result can be seen on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlf9uG-sTIY
Kind regards
Roy Wood

Roy, looks really nice, and I love the sound, but I'm not sure its the right video link? The version I get is just the loco running light from R to L and back again - no loaded heavy train as the blurb suggests?

My apologies. Thanks for pointing out my error. As you say, the light engine is not quite the heavy load I suggested! I'm sorting out the video now and will post a message when it's done. It's the first video I've posted and I seem to have made just about every mistake thast's possible. It will get better.......

Phew!
Apologies again, but this link should be fine now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcdO65kje4o

I had apparently only uploaded the last bit of the video!
Kind regards

Nice loco Roy. Is it going to be available as a kit?

My apologies to Big Jim for not replying earlier
I hadn't planned to make Salem available as a kit however, I am always prepared to listen to what customers want. I'm not sure that I can offer a huge saving though.
Regards
Roy
