RC linkage for regulator

Hi all,

I'm going to put RC into my Accucraft Baldwin WD 4-6-0 and am using my 'Lew' as a guide, however I can't seem to find the linkage 'Lew' has in the cab which converts horizontal movement into vertical movement? It's a 'L' shaped linkage but is held on an axle which has a baseplate on with two bolts into the cab floor.
Obviously RC planes don't have this sort of arrangement and I thought boats might but I'm unable to find anything on the internet.
Any help in the right direction gratefully received.

John

I couldn't find them commercially either so made one from pieces of scrap brass cut with a piercing saw. Its not difficult.

Do you mean a bell crank?

Some examples here - http://www.sloughrc.com/default.asp?WPG ... 20-060-080 and here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/27182960 ... 0&ff14=108

No, I mean this [see picture]note baseplate which I imagine is using the holes from the reversing lever holes. I could make one but if its an off the shelf item I'd rather buy it.

Thanks

Hi John

This is a standard Accucraft part. If you want one give us a call.

Also Nigel Town did a very good article in 16MM Today about fitting R/C to his Baldwin.

Also Dave Mees has done a very good twin channel R/C fitment for his Baldwin.

Regards

Ian
