Hello Folks,
Out of curiosity, has anyone on here ever attempted to fabricate a cab for an Edrig?

I've been trawling through the internet and seen that the absolutely 16mm legend that is Chris Bird has made an absolutely sock knockeringly beautiful tender locomotive out of an Edrig, but that is far far out of my ability range

I think most people would of bought Ragleth with a cab rather than tying to make one for Edrig, surely the charm of Edrig is the open cab which also makes it easy to drive as a first manual loco. There are also the body kits available.

Chris, have a look at gscalecentral.net
I have done a coal fired Edrig with cab.
Once on the site click on Forums, then Coal fired locos.
Photos to be seen.

You can see the outline of the original spectacle plate which is incorporated in the cab front sheet.

No, just built from brass sheet. I'm disabled; spinal cord injury, so I come up with the suggestions and my brother does the work! Works out quite well really...
