Just for interest, this is what the firebox of a meths fired pot boiler looks like when the engine is in steam. Notice the glowing superheater elements.

Looks like you've got her cooking!

I too prefer pot boilers. My line is basically end to end with a fair amount of shunting involved so the longer run time of the pot is a blessing. I have a couple of 'flue' locomotives, but they always seem to run out of steam halfway through the appointed task.
