Could someone please post a picture of the cab interior, please - looking over the tender to the inside of the cab.

Doesn't matter if it is manual or r/c.

TIA.

Thanks, Tony - yes: although not quite the angle I was thinking of, very helpful.

How does the gas tank attach, is there a bracket underneath with 2 setscrews or a pair of nuts and bolts?

It's been a while, but my recollection is there are tapped holes in the L-shaped bracket, with the screws fastening it to the inside of the frame.

Is the tender much wider than the loco?
Is it the same tender as George has?

TonyW,
Have you ever converted a "Linda" into a Ffestiniog "Blanche"?#
I've never seen one! :(

Although this will not be a 'Blanche' - plans are afoot to look at making it into a 2-4-0.

No, but I would love to! If done in 1960s pre-oil firing pre-piston valves condition the major changes needed are to the loco cab sides and, of course, a completely different tender body with cab. Post 1972 condition would also mean different cylinder covers and a few other detailing bits (snifting valve on top of the saddle tank, oil tank in tender, for example) would be needed.

Putting a pony truck under the front end would require a forward frame extension, just like the full-size locos have.

I know of one that is being done (slowly). The cylinders have been reprofiled to the piston valve shape, the tender and cab sides will get done later. The pony wheels were being imitated by two discs near the rails on each side if I remember rightly....
