Bonds Track

As can be seen from my other posts, I have finally got down to starting my railway.
I have a fair bit of Peco track ready to lay. I also found in my late Fathers shed a rather large amount of Bonds bullhead rail.
About 60 yards of Brass and an awful lot more of steel.
A few bits of built track and points were also discovered. I had put this away thinking it might be worth slinging on ebay at some point but it seems a shame not to use it.
The track seems to be code 200 and it does look nice.
A bit of research suggests that Tenmille chairs and possibly their sleeper system may work with it.
I know steel will rust eventually but it can be treated. I don't want to electrify the track so surface corrosion is not an issue.
Come on folks, tell me I am being silly or is this worth trying?
