a little tip when fitting the glazing check the plastic fits ok as I had to give mine a slight sand on 1 edge side to fit ok..Take your time lining up the motor to the gear wheels

My glazing started out as a "tight push fit" but has now deteriorated to "falls out when you breathe on it" - I think a smidgeon of glue is called for!

A tiny amount of the wood glue or impact adhesive is all that is needed Brian.
I don't recommend superglue as it may mist the window.

I tried it. It works fine. I also put a small drop of oil for locos.

All my stuff runs on 45mm track (I have a G scale layout), but it's not very important I guess.

Looks good so far not sure about the exhaust pipe is it to large for this size loco
