I use Format Factory to convert these Quicktime files into another file format that Windows Movie Maker will work with.

thanks for both suggestions, I tried the Youtube one and it worked so that's the easy route for now.
Here is the first run on rails, but does show a problem at the end

I'll keep tinkering, see if I can string a bit more together, never tried this before. It's running on Peco SM32.

I thought it would need 45mm to look ok but looking at it so far I could be wrong, nice choice, enjoy. Thank you for the time sharing the sights with us.

Hi Derek
glad to see mine isn't the only jungle out there.
Yours looks to run better than mine, did you have to tinker or is that straight out of the box? There is a discussion over on the 7/8ths lounge, there are a few people with a problem of the exhaust shooting up the chimney and a push is needed to get over this point.
I found it to be an incredibly messy runner so made a chuf pipe for mine, I understand Summerlands have the issue in hand.

The Hunslet has just the mass needed to drive a flail through my undergrowth, which is as good a reason as any for buying one...

I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly it ran out of the box. On my Walmer Bridge layout it was very controllable, so the precaution of stationing gloved catchers at each corner was not required.

Unpleasantly surprised at how much yellow gunk was thrown out of the chimney. My Lawley is a bit of an 'oiler' but the Hunslet looks as if it has some chronic dribbling disease. Does a chuff pipe cure it?

OK managed to get a bit more video clips together.

The chuff pipe solves the problem of the yellow oily slug crawling out the top of the chimney and a generally antisocial engine.

I am very surprised these have come over with the problems they have. I'm not one to knock Accucraft engines, I have a few and think they are great value and generally good runners.
I know Ian is aware of the problem and I'm sure will sort it out, just very disappointing at this stage.

Derek. I noticed on your video on the indoor track it does stall at one point and appears to have the steam going up the stack but does overcome it and restart.

Despite the problems these locos are experiencing David brought his along today to run on my line:

I have never seen anything in 7/8ths scale in the metal and it's only until you do that you appreciate the size difference to 16mm. I feel like I am running OO in the garden compared to this monster ;)

It has certainly got me thinking about building my Riverdale coal fired Amy into 7/8ths!

My grease monkey ran well today on day 2 of the Woodvale Rally here at windswept Southport, despite the reverser being jammed in forward gear!

A cursory examination reveals no obvious reason, the mechanism just seems to be stuck. I'm reluctant to probe further, as I may well do more harm than good. A phone call to the dealer seems required. Bit disappointed now.
