Emett in the garden

Post by Peter Butler » Fri Oct 05, 2012 10:08 pm

This is my first post on this site, although I have made those on A.W.N.U.T.S. suffer for months now!
For those who havn't seen my Emett stock before I offer you 'NEPTUNE'. Created for the 1951 Festival of Britain passenger carrying railway, 'Far Tottering and Oyster Creeek', this locomotive ran on 15" gauge. Mine is 1:12 (ish) scale and runs on 32mm (SM32) and is 12v track powered. I think I should convert the motor to battery power but have not attempted it yet!
There are a few photographs of this line on u-tube etc. where this locomotive can be seen in action.
Two more loco's were also used, 'Wild Goose' and, of course, 'Nellie'
