I've always liked those Fowlers, which is saying a lot because there aren't many diesels I do like.
So can you tell us more about this particular model loco Dave?

Hi
I know nothing about this loco i think it must have been on ebay at some time and i saved the picture . It may have been by essel eng as it seems to be well made.
I thought the picture maybe of some help to any one wishing to build one

I think it's a Merlin Motor Mule. I bought one from the late Tom Cooper many years ago. She had a Como motor gearbox and a socking great 12 volt Yuasa battery under the bonnet. Wasn't very quick but would pull a house down.

I like it a lot...might have to learn myself to do louvres so that I can have a go at something similar....well, louvres and outside frame cranks.

It was great to be able to see the before and after photos as well as the photos of work in progress. That's a fine loco you have there.
