Hello all,
I have a large amount of plasticard and I enjoy scratch building here is a photo of my scratch built IP Dotti locos all built from my scrap box
However I would like to build a IP Feanor but having a very deep & full scrap box and a ton of plasticard I don't want to buy the loco kit (as well as the price of the kit being abit expencive for my pocket)
I was wandering if anyone had one they could perhaps take some measurments off of for me or perhaps send me a drawing (PM) I could work from?
Many thanks

Ah Cheers!
And yes I did, I took the sizes from a friends loco and built one from scratch and fitted a IP budget chassis
and then built anouther one but with a cab and now I'm part way through building anouther one haha
But working in a number of scales it leaves me allot of spare parts from kits and so on to use up

Cheers again
The weathering is nothing special really just some railmatch rust paint dry brushed ontop
It tones down the paint nicely I think

Ar, the funds have appeared haha, great kit to build by the way, even if the curved bonnet is just awkward!
Thanks

Some plastic packaging makes wonderful plasticard, Sergal should raid the rubbish bin to get useful building bits for free!!

Just raid the skip at your local school, it's a gold mine! (uhh for plastic and stuff) it's suprising some times what they do chuck out,
I built whole 00 gauge model railway baseboards with stuff from their skip.
They use alot of vacumm forming plastic which is the same as plasticard, most of my garden railway locos are built from it!

for the other stuff in my scrap box I just save the ''bits'' from airfix kits and so on
here is a random photo of 1 of 3 of my scap boxes lol
