A Cracker on a sunny afternoon in South Wales.

Hi,
It has been a very pleasant day here in Old South Wales. Having just finished a Cracker to the point it could be run I spent 45 minutes or so watching it go around and around. It is a standard Cracker having a 5/16" bore and 11mm stroke cylinder geared 4:1 driving 24mm diameter wheels.

The locomotive and its gas supply weighs 800 grms and the bolster with its Cracker load 1.2kgs. So with a total weight of 3kg (6.6lbs old money) this quite small cylinder with a 25lb steam pressure is doing really well.
Regards Tony.

I forgot to mention that it was a video. At least one person did not know that such horrible photographs are often videos.

Regards Tony.
