Has anyone heard from him recently? I ordered some transfers for a slaters prince and ashbury coach in June last year and was aware he had been having problems with transfers getting damaged in the post. I last heard from him near the start of Febuary when i got a message to say that the problems were sorted and my transfers were ready to dispatch but haven't heard anything since. Hope all is ok.
Best wishes
Colin

I saw him at Expo Narrow Gauge at Swanley.  He has often been slow in meeting orders and clearly on occasions there are good reasons for that.  Note though that when you get your transfers they will be of very high quality.
My last order from him was some time ago but I received my transfers soon after exhibiting opposite him at the Porthmadog show and taking the opportunity to remind him a few times.

Par for the course. The transfers are good, however I have been caught twice. Once 25 years ago when he traded as Ginjinjimini (or similar) and once when I did not realise that this was the same person. Luckily I paid no money the second time.

My first order took about 3 months altough I did give Peter the benefit of the doubt on the reason for the delay (lost order details on his PC). When the transfers arrived they were very good. I ordered again - some buffer beam numbers - from first enquiry to actually getting the items was 9 months believe it or not! I will be using http://www.fox-transfers.co.uk/ next time round :) who I have already dealt with and had first class service.

Ive dealt with Fox transfers a number of times and they are very good for service. Ive just emailed him again (6th time in the last month) to try to find out what is happening as I paid for tje transfers when i ordered them as he was expecting the price to rise soon after for the materials he uses.

He has made transfers for my 16mm stuff and 5" gauge. Very quick, he will make anything you want and is very reasonable.

The reason they take a long time is there from usa. I forked out £80 for transfers arrived a year later. Very poor service and if I was to list the excuses i got I would be typing here for some months. I didnt think he had a wife!
