A speed controller from Timpdon electronics.
A 3 way switch (centre off)
A charging socket and charger
5-7 Nmh Batteries to make a battery pack

Thats how I'd do it anyway, while i was in there i'd add some lead weights too!

I Just hooked mine up to a simple 9V supply with a switch to engage a second 6V supply bringing it up to 15V. Ive found 9V is perfecly sufficient and the extra box is only used for outrunning steamers or a bit off a power boost when the 9V pack is running a bit flat.
