I am looking to reproduce a canvas textured roof for my welsh highland coach. Does anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this?

Bog roll PVA/water saoked into place. Wait to harden. When rock hard paint and varnish.
I used an old shirt I didn't really like (Don't tell my parents!!) with a very fine weve glued with PVA/water mix then painted for my fish van which you saw last year.

I think i will try a few techniques and see which one works the best, thanks for your suggestions.

You can also use model aircraft tissue - the proper stuff, not the modern plastic film. It's tougher than bog roll. Alternatively, use an old fine cotton handkerchief or an unwanted shirt (as somebody else has already done!) Remember - you're looking for as fine a weave as possible.

Thanks, I do have a few old shirts available so will probably try this method first as I don't have to spend any money!

Don't use Anbdrex though, you wouldn't want a roof covered in ickle puppies!
