Here is a 32/45mm crossover piece I made using an existing piko crossover. The 45mm has been tested and works with track power. Just need to test the 32mm track to make sure things run over reliably. I have something in mind for the transition from lgb rail to Peco sm-32 rail.

Looks brilliant. I've been wondering how I could combine 32mm with 45mm for a while. I'm now trying to decide if and how the same principle could be used to make a length of dual gauge track with entrance and exit points for the 32mm track.

They are used by full size railways, especially here in Oz thanks to the Pommie engineers who bequeathed us more railway gauges than you can poke a stick at.....

It sounds like what you are looking for is what the prototype calls a frog gauntlet track.

This link has pics of a Tillig HO scale example of the type with no moving parts, where the ng track diverges from the bg track. They come in l/h and r/h versions and you should be able to knock up something using the pics. as a reference to draw up a template.

Making a couple of those should keep you off the streets for a while.......

There are also rtr dual gauge turnouts for 32mm and 45mm available commercially, if you have won the lottery recently.

For track that becomes dual gauge elements from a 22.5 degree crossover or point frog may be more useful. The angle the track enters with this crossover/frog piece may be too sharp. The rail that is shared by both gauges may be complicated where the 32mm enters/exits but perhaps a switchable point blade could be used here. I may have a go at this if I find damaged points lying around.

If this is 32mm joining 45mm for a while, then exiting (shared road, if you like) then the point of entry and exit, should not need any moving parts..
If you want either to be in a continuing run of dual-gauge track, then that becomes a much bigger problem.
