blanking steam line

How do I blank off the steam pipe under the dome on an MSS loco
I dot need it because Iv got an upgraded regulator

IP used to supply a little cover to go over it, I'm not sure if Dream Steam still supply this.
You'll have to ask them

have just got off the phone with PPS and he said to just block it with a self tapping screw and some of that sealing tape stuff

The only way I thought of doing it relatively easily was to remove all the gubbins and solder a patch over the hole left in the underside of the boiler. Silver solder of course, as soft solder would probably melt from the meths/gas flame.
That is unless you want to go to the effort of machining a 'tophat' to go over the pipe.
