I don't get to contribute much here, choosing instead to lurk & enjoy the modelling work & stories of others, but I thought some might be interested to see this wagon I found during my visit to the Toronto railroad museum.

It's a wooden tank car built in 1938 to transport vinegar. Obviously this one is standard gauge, but I'm sure some of you might find this an interesting prototype nonetheless!

I believe I saw that car when I was a little boy- my Father volunteered there in the seventies.

One can easily imagine a little narrow-gauge wagon with a wooden tank on it. I would paint mine green and label it "Pickles".

A Pringles can with lollipop sticks stuck on it would be a good representation of the wagon, good find...

Marvelous - I've had a vinegar transporter wagon on the DVLR for nearly 8 years now - it is just a bittle of sarsons on a wagon so is a bit of a flight of fancy. If I want to make it more serious I know what to do now!
