Looks awsome. I'll say it again, you've done a lovely job of weathering you Garratt. If only Accudraft had got the cab right!

The cab doesn't seem to be quite right though looking at photographs its not too far off. I could do something with the side windows.

As for the pressure gauge its only really in photographs like these that it sticks out a mile! I might turn it round or move it, or maybe paint a face on it!

NHMFR No 7 (my Mamod) is in the works at the moment so after that maybe....or after the SAR V5 van waiting to be built, and the Slaters WD "D" wagon kit arrived today...or maybe the pressure gauge will still be glaring at us for the foreseeable future!

Wow! From that veiw, if you had more in the way of scale plants etc, you could make that look like a very realistic WHR scene! The daffs look pretty anyway, so no need haha!

I cut the offending 2mm off + a bit and relayed the track with a slightly larger gap. Interestingly in today's slightly cooler sunshine the gaps have virtually closed up again but no buckling today.

Hopefully in the winter the small wheels on the skips won't fall down a hole between rail ends!

I had a buckle on one of my bridges, and ended up cutting off a mm or 2 to return it to normal, the rails on mine didn't overlap by as much as the first pic though! When I put it back together I put some oil on the fishplates, to see if that would make any difference with the expansion

Excellent! A real driver's eye view there as it looks just like that on The Real Thing.

I really must put some matt black on my Garratt's smoke box. It gained the skull and crossbones on the bunker back and the brass plates on the lubricators a couple of weeks ago. Still more to do though...

Brilliant video - loved the camera angle of the on board ride- a nice view of the articulation. The gas was a little loud though.
