Yes thanks, very tiring though, next time your up at Ravenglass think of the effort by those who put in the bottom loop point at Fisherground
Here is a pic of the drawings and first cut parts of the buffet car

Will do. Ooh, great stuff. I can't wait to see it at easter. (Am I sounding like a broken record yet? Though to be fair I am looking forward to seeing all the changes and improvements).

You could start a little business there Christopher, selling copys of the drawings!

To be honest doing the drawing isn't exactly the most fun bit of building a coach
Here is a pic of the sudden burst of progress that has happened.
Since the pic was taken, scribing for the planking has been completed on one side, thats another tedious job

The parts are 2 sides, 2 partitions, 4 doors and the completed floor and ends

You know it's actually more fun reading about you building the coach than it is actually watching you. And at least you're not blocking the telly whilst sawing off bits of wood

The first side is completed
Next job is to move on to the interior, which includes a first class compartment, and the buffet area, I already have a suitable tea urn and cups

Ages since last report, but here is the latest pic, taken before my trip to Wales
As you can see the body is nearly ready for priming of the wood to start for the paint

Coats of green paint are now rapidly appearing on the buffet car
Hopefully it will have hit the rails by the end of the month, although as to how complete it would be (the observation car made its steamup debut roofless!)

Well after just over 2 months of work, the buffet car was put on its wheels today, and many of the details are being added (including 3 lego glasses that are just the right size, thanks to the person who suggested lego for detailing). The couplings are on so the carriage can be towed as well, but your gonna have to wait for the official unvailing for any more pics, but surffice to say that in my opinion it looks rather nice. Just need to get some people to populate it (must be ready for the PTLR fest on May 4th, PTLRcecils giant steamup)

I'm sure it looks spectacular, especially if your other coaches are anything to go by!
