The unofficial Mamod forum also does this and it works fine as a source of encouragement.

I've got to say I love the garden railway competition but often don't enter simply because I can't enter due to not being able to fulfill the criteria for the month! Not to besmirch the excellent entries but also if I know I cant enter I don't usually check back on it either even though I definitely should.
