HGLW shunter

Introdcuing "Ginger" the Diesel Mechanical 0-4-0 shunter. So called not from his colour but my kitten (called Ginger and who IS Ginger) from the constant prr prr prr prr prr prr prr noise both make!

He's not quite 100% complete (locomotive, not the cat, but the cat has been neutered so he isnt either). Ive still to add an exhaust pipe and do a bit more weathering. Painted using Citadel Acrylics.

R/C is tempting I must say

Ive got a speed controller I'm going to fit at some later date.

Next Ive got the cab controls to install, an exhaust to fabricate and then do some more weathering. He looks a bit too clean......

A quick vid of him in action. Ive put a resister in the wiring to slow him down a bit. I think he goes at a nice scale putter along. Don't you?
