Post by pauly » Thu Aug 21, 2008 6:19 pm

I have been trying to convert millie to RC and while I was changing the regulator the thread snapped and roundhouse say I should send it back and they will take the old thread out and replace it and they say it will have to be repainted as well.

Can you post a photo of the damaged part? I imagine that it's snapped off so as to not be able to remove the broken part?

so you were bending it, from my understanding things snap when you bend and shear when you tighten it to much or it crossthreads and too much force is applied (did it to a banjo bolt on my Edrig).
