I love it! I am lucky enough to have TOM Rolt and Charles which I brought when I was earning good money. I did dream of chopping Tom for a Taliesin oh to have dosh I'd keep my two and add one of these..Question, the wheels seem large does it affect top speed and slow running..Could you Kindly do a running report for me?

Will do, not put a match to her yet but hopefully I'll be taking her for a test drive tomorrow afternoon at a friends track.
It was a toss up between buying Charles and Taliesin, so being a fan of the Penrhyn railway Charles won and arrived last November.
In the meantime I had a very BIG bit of bad luck, some IDIOT turned right in front of me and wrote my car off and nearly me as well. I was injured and awarded some compensation, so I thought what the heck I may as well get something I want out of this, so I ordered Taliesin.

Will do, I just hope the rain stays away for the test drive, I don't want to get her wet too soon

To answer Steamie1
One of our club members has a Roundhouse Tal. Speed and slow running is not a problem, although traction does suffer abit! Our usual carriage rake is 8-10 bogie vehicles: Tal slips when pulling away, whereas my Silver Lady (and my Katie with its lead loaded tender!) don't slip at all.

Welcome to the club. The locos are really good you have made a good choice. Mine is more than powerful enough for my 6 coach rake. Im sure you will be happy with it.

Welcome to the club.
Thanks, your Taliesin looks great but I'll be leaving mine as it came from the factory, no lining, no chuffer.

Yes please! I'll dream you knocked on my door and said "heard you were looking for one of these, take it I have too many now!" Don't mind if I do....

First run this afternoon, the weather could have been better though.
She runs extreamly smoothly but dosn't as yet have the pulling power
of my Lady Anne, which is very well run in. There's also quite a nice chuff from the standard exhaust.
