In the contact of my suggestion, I consider the 1964 Company to be "old" and the New Railway to be "new"..................

will be interesting to see, accucraft have done a few 0-4-0's and 0-4-2's recently, so maybe smaller locos are the way to go?

How about a Hunslet W.D. 4-6-0.

Well if it's WHR based, then it doesn't mean it WILL be a steamer! ;)
Castell Caernarfon or the Green Brick (Vale of Ffestiniog)?

I might have a really hard time saying no to a WD Hunslet.

Beddgelert

When they did their pol the other year Beddgelert was a popular choice, which would tie in to the above comment.

I agree with Sir Haydn, I have a feeling it'll be an England loco to keep on track with the FfR theme. As said earlier, most of the advertising as basically been done for them all ready! I would find it odd if one didn't appear.

Would be interesting if they brought out the England in the as built style...now that would be interesting!

These engines are very small and as built where very small indeed. I doubt weather the original in particular would be a Roundhouse choice.

Here are a couple of 16mm scale models built earlier by DJB & Gosling locomotives

The quickest, easiest way to produce a "new" loco is a quick re-engineering of an existing product- remember how quickly they reacted to popular demand last year and produced "Alco" from "Mountaineer". With that in mind, suppose they took one of their premium products and a little (prototypical) imagination to produce...

No it's not - it's GORGEOUS!! (and something to have on the stand when the AGM's on April 1st - Roundhouse did an Argyle in tartan for THAT!)

Jarvis Bay is an interesting piece of work. The owner has even acquired a couple of the coaches 'streamlined' to go with Jarvis Bay. I will have to try to snap a photo of the train when next I see it at a steamup.

I don't see them doing it but a model of peckit saddle tank Harrogate would be nice.

here's an old ball for you to think about, now that locomotion have ceased production how about a hunslet Mills class loco, either cackler or Jerry M depending on customers wish, make a nice comparison to charles.

I'd love to see an original-condition England (not that I would be able to afford to buy it!) but I agree it is unlikely to happen. Cackler or Jerry M are also beautiful engines but perhaps still a little on the small side for 45mm?
It might not happen this year, but I think the Statfold Barn fleet must have a lot of potential to inspire new locos. What about Isibutu, Saccharine, the La Meuse or one of the big Mallets? (I'm mostly thinking of engines with big outside cylinders!)
