Whats the strangest material youv ever used in modelling, mines some fruit crates I fished out the college dumpster!

They make nice tubs.

Blue Tack.......used for making hats for my little people. Problems only occur when the temperature rises too high & the stuff starts to go squishy!

This poxy two part stuff I'm using at the mo'! The hardner smells like marsh gas and the stench lingers - I'm just tackling the roof supports for my buffet coach bash and I'm fed up with being asked

The damned stuff is gonna get me banished to the shed!

The lid off a Schwartz spice jar, I believe it was Oregano. It was used for the door of the smokebox for 'Noel' my kitbashed Locolines Tiny. Unfortunately it was in green, the black ones still had stuff in it and I was too mean to decant it into something else! But, I have saved a black one to use for something else!!

OO9 scale tree. I was demonstrated this method at a show. Basically, get a twig, hot glue gun some hair to it (to form the branches) and spray with Woodlands scenic adhesive. Then you just roll it around in some scatter material and LO, a perfectly formed tree that doesn't break the bank.

I used to have very long hair, when it was all cut off I kept a bit.

I don't! Cheers, the others are just commercial "coney" trees! Had to build that layout to a deadline so they were used.
