Mr. Bond's holiday in Wales

Post by Dr. Bond of the DVLR » Thu Aug 05, 2010 8:25 pm

Well, its about time I start to put my videos etc from this year's welsh holiday.
First one, llechfan railway. It was smashing. I went with tons of stuff in a suitcase and came a way with even more and picked up Parisite.

I have taken the liberty of linking to the video from the Llechfan web site (as well as finally getting around to posting some other photos from the weekend that I was sent).

Wasn't really sure weather to post this in here or Extreme steam...

It was good fun, I think I can successfully say I am the first to return steam to the Glyn Valley Tramway in 70 years...

And on that note, did the "Stoneleigh Episode" of Bluebottle's adventures ever get released, or did I miss it? ;)

No we had some 'issues' with the camera files, must try to get back on it soon.

Right then, another video, this one of the Joys of Life. I had a cracking day which started with horizontal rain! By the end of the day it was boiling hot though!

WOW! didnt think i was going to see that footage! I had completely forgot about it! Some great shots there, I really like the shots were you had it close to the ground alongside, and some new vantage points i shall be utilising in the future!

Can I add it was very comfortable too! (and it was my design with the seat as the head rest and the small GVT open waggon to contain your feet as most people are longer than a standard JOL bogie coach)
