A very popular starting point for Live Steam. With their low cost comes a number of problems which can be discussed here

Fantastic, like I said on MSN it's very good! Needs body, like a tram or some kind of industrial Sentinel or whatever.

Top stuff, the stationarys do interest me when they are doing something and not just sitting there spinning at 2,000rpm.

Will it be venturing off the Sprat and Winkle onto other local metals?
NHMF would be interested in running trials.

I can vouch for the design. I copied it except for the pointy out layshaft and its brilliant. A meths burner, 20 psi safety and a top up valve help a lot too. Im putting a tram body on mine.
