Sorry if you find me a pain but I have a couple of questions and thougth everyone on here are the right people to ask
So here i go-
1) Did locolines used to make corris coaches? If so does anyone have any pics?
2) Anyone have any ideas of how i could build a FR 'funkey' ?

Thanks in advance

Jack,

Re the FR Funkey DJB were going to produce a kit but it seems there's a problem with bogie castings (see http://www.djbengineering.co.uk/index2.html )

However Worsley Works produce a kit for the WHR Funkey (see http://www.worsleyworks.co.uk/Image-Pag ... Funky2.htm )

The two together: http://www.isengard.co.uk/images/JPEGS/ ... fon%20.jpg

I wonder if the problem with the DJB bogies can be overcome?

This is exactly the problem that I had. I wanted to build one of these but not being able to get bogie castings has put it off. I don't know if you have seen this but Stacey baker has built one here:http://wfvr.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=3834916

Yes Locolines did the Corris coaches - I Emailed Roy a couple of months back about getting one.

He still had the artwork on his computer, dragged it out and printed me one! :D  (It's the reason I asked him if he'd do a Corris loco!!) Give him a shout, he's one of the most helpful traders out there.

Sorry but you'll have to give me a while to sort out some pics, but I'll post 'em up ASAP.

Edit: Sir Haydn, if you're reading this - I've kinda let the cat out of the bag :D The "parcel" that arrived was one of the Corris loco kits! It's my next project after the Tin Tabernacle's finished
"A (cheap) Return To Corris" :D :D :D :D :D :D
Loco & rake of coaches - all cardboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(TOLD you it wasn't anything to get exited about!)

I actually have a special Corris coach kit - it's a dark maroon one instead of the usual coloured one, that I got cheap as it was Roy's experimental one. I did start making it, but ruined one of the side panels, and I put it off. I'll check if it's viable, and if you're interested in it, PM me.

Very Nice coach there. I may have to email about them. And if you don't find it rude me asking, how much was/were these kits?
