I don't quite know what to say at Will's response to bungle's comment! Found it disturbingly funny for my liking!
Anyway, got Urien reassembled today and posed for the works photo (the works being the lounge table of course)

Oh no, I've fitted the bunker, what controversy i'm going to cause!

Cab interior. The last thing I did was paint the burner and cab pipework matt black, this was inspired by MTA as he said he was about to do the same thing to Peaslake

Did you just spray the smokebox ratty, or hand paint it?

It was spray painted, using halfords matt black spray paint. I know some prefer the high tempture matt black, but I think this looks a bit too matt, almost a matt dark blue.

With the smokebox did you strip the original paint off? If so, what primer did you use before the matt black? I'm considering doing some cosmetic mods to Cumberland and I think a matt black smoke box mite be something to consider!

I presume Cumberland=Lawley, many people re-spray Accucraft smokeboxes and all you have to do is clean it with the turps and spray away.

Yeah Cumberland is my Lawley. I've got a few ideas from looking at the post about making burners quieter over on the GSM forum where someone has done a few things to their lawley!

I just washed it down with thinners and sprayed over the top of the paint that was there, done this with Caradoc and Gwydion with no problems, and Taliesin is up next
