LGB points electrofrog or insulfrog?

Hi,

Looking at purchasing LGB track (first G scale track) including the LGB siding and station loop sets. Looking at google it says the points are electrofrog so live on both lines off the points. This would not be useful for either of the sets with multiple track powered engines. Would I be right in thinking I would require to purchase isolation track. LGB sell 10152 separation track, so break in both rails, and 10153 interrupter track which only breaks on one side.

I assume a break on the one side will suffice, it doesn't show on the LGB site how to turn on/off as required, do you need a separate two way switch connected? So for the LGB siding it will require one, and for the loop to isolate option on both lines you will require four.

Am I right in thinking I need to purchase these separately at the pleasure of £30 each?

Thanks

A cheaper way is to buy plastic insulated rail joiners and then add your own isolating switches.
