Even cats have Christmas
We have several feral cats visit us for some time now, sometimes individually and sometimes together.
There is frequently one in particular waiting for breakfast at 6 or 7am, and it can be cold outside at this time of year. With soft floor covering the accommodation is wind and waterproof so she sometimes curls up for the night.
Our Christmas present to them is shown here...

I'm sure they will really appreciate this. Especially as the weather is supposed to be deteriorating over the next few days.

That's incredibly generous Peter. I suspect most people would be trying to discourage stray cats.

Wondering how long it will be till one decides that "I don't want to be a stray anymore I want to live here all the time"?
I remember when I bought home my "old mate" he looked around and I'm sure he thought "Its warm, dry, safe and it come with 2 servants; I'll take this" because he jumped straight up on a chair and curled up.
Always remember that cats do not have masters they have staff.

Re: Even cats have Christmas
Throughout our married life we have had cats sharing our homes. We even brought two with us from the Midlands, along with one dog. After we lost the cats we decided to only have dogs, so the two dogs we have are not keen on the idea of sharing their home.
The feral cats are street-wise and keep clear when the dogs are about and would not come into the house at all.
