Cardiff MES Open day

A few pics from the open day at Cardiff MES last week end. The family and I were well looked after by Mr Tony Bird and I was given the grand tour. Very, very impressive.
There were a few interesting things running on the garden railway including a coal fired Billy, a Caradoc with a Billy boiler. Several of Tony's crowd pleasing items (postman Pat, Thomas etc.).
Tony demonstrated one of his superb engines with a boiler made from a plumbing T Piece, I think he has written it up on here. Plus I took my Peace Ulysses and Caradoc
A very good day out.
