My 1975 Archangel Rheidol in steam today, coming up for 40 years old now. Makes me feel old, what do I mean I am old!!

The "Whistle" is a hooter!! (Archangel speak!) The big bit is to make it sound a bit deeper!

Going in the other direction.

Very nice, as always! I would love to get my hands on a Rheidol, but being on the other side of the pond is a distinct disadvantage.

A friend in Canada just acquired a 1981 Marmaduke that has a resonator whistle that is quite pleasing when blown at 70 psi. Unfortunately, it pulls down the pressure and reduces the number of razzberries blown during the course of a run.
